"The Living Room is how we describe our Sunday morning experience. Just like with family, it takes different roles and gifts working together to make things work."

We are passionate about you finding your place of fit in the family dynamic.
From using your conversation skills to greet others, social media skills to run the livestream, baking and cooking for services or events, or mixing up lattes in the cafe -
your skills and your passion are wanted and needed.
HOSPITALITY
COFFEE
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee - we just can't get enough of our morning cups of joe. We are looking for cafe crew members (baristas) to serve in the cafe during Sunday services. The cafe crew will brew coffee, set out cups,
tea, water and treats to welcome our family and guests alike. Prior to the Sunday service you may get to use your barista skills to make espresso drinks for those that want an extra jolt of caffeine or special treat for their Sunday. (Barista training can be provided for those interested in serving in this area.)

FOOD
If baking & food are your passion or if you are looking for ways to serve outside of the Sunday Service providing food for the Cafe is a great opportunity. We would love for those skilled at baking to
make treats for Sunday Services. Or if food is your passion, and making it isn't, purchasing your favorite treats to share on Sunday is a great alternative.

On a quarterly basis we would like to host a luncheon for those that are visiting or new to the church family. The luncheon volunteers will be responsible for making or picking up food as well as serving our guests during the luncheon and for the clean up afterwards.
CLEAN UP
We would like each person that attends on
Sunday to be able to enjoy their beverages and treats in the way they enjoy most
For those that prefer a mug to a disposable cup we have mugs provided.
We need volunteers willing to collect and clean mugs after service.

WELCOMERS
The ALife hospitality welcome team are the face of our family. Their role is to make both our regular attendees and guests feel welcome from the moment they walk in the door. Whether you like to chat with one and all, dole out handshakes and warm hugs or be the concierge of all things ALife - we would love your support to welcome all who come to the Alife living room.
CLOSERS
The Closing team will be those willing to be the last to leave after service. This team ushers out our last attendees with a kind goodbye, closes doors, turns off lights and locks up the building.

CONNECTORS
Do you have a passion for helping others find their place of fit? We are looking for those willing to help those newer to ALife find
their own place of fit. From learning about any groups or services happening to opportunities to serve themselves. Specifics of this role will include following up by phone or email with connection cards.

WORSHIPS &
ARTS
WORSHIP
Worship is more than just instruments playing and people singing. It is an outpouring of our spirit to God as a community and can look many different ways including worshiping through flagging, painting, singing or playing an instrument. Alife worship is called to unite, release freedom and saturate the area
Worship is about more than instruments, indeed, it takes a dynamic team to make Sunday Services happen.
PRO PRESENTERS
Pro-Presenters are responsible for the lyrics that accompany worship, presentations provided by speakers and weekly
anouncement slides. we live in as an example of living in a continual relationship with God. The worship team strives to make a way into the presence of God by partnering with Holy Spirit to release the NOW sound of God!

SOUND
Interested in changing the way the room feels
through the conduit of sound? Sound technicians
support the worship team in helping usher in the feel of the room and creating space for the presence of God. The way the Sunday living room sounds is a powerful way to connect those in person and online to what is happening in the room. Interested in learning how to be a sound technician? Let us know!

LIGHTING
During a gathering in the ALife living room there
are many different Transitions and stages.
Lighting Technicians help with these transitions by opening and closing the blinds and adjusting the lighting as appropriate or needed. Light sets the tone for our gatherings, and the Lighting Technicians play an important role in
making Sunday happen.

LIVESTREAMS
Each ALife Sunday gathering is livestreamed to the ALife website, Facebook and YouTube. Once a month we have church from home where all are invited and encouraged to tune into the livestream while no service is happening in the building.

COUNTERS
Are numbers your thing?
Our counters take a tally of the number of individuals who join us each week at each gathering.

CHILDREN & YOUTH
CHILDREN
Children's Ministry is an opportunity to help raise up the next generation to know that they are born to be loved, born to be who they are, born to be Kingdom raisers.
There are many opportunities to serve the Children's Ministry: from lesson plans to snack providers, from lead teachers to happy helpers.

(Our Children's Ministry includes children aged
2-10 years old.)
YOUTH
The youth are our future. Youth Ministry is an
opportunity to share with the next generation that they are loved and supported as the world changers that they are.
(While we don't have a formal youth ministry we hope to hold pop up events and classes
for this age group.)

GROUPS
The living room experience isn't just about Sunday mornings in our building...
it's an everyday expression of being the church.
Our groups are another way we see the living room dynamic unfold,
whether at the church or home.
INTERCESSION
The intercessors group get together once a month. They gather around any needs for our church or members to be prayed for. They share with each other and lift up in prayer what they feel God is speaking in thoughts, senses, visions, bible verses and prophecies.

CHURCH @ HOME
Bring this to your own living room by hosting one of your own church at home gatherings. The last Sunday of every month, invite people over to listen to the message, worship and pray, or just hang out!
